The Truth About Deforestation Global Warming
Jeff Plante

Defined Tag:

Deforestation global warming is often underestimated when it comes to our climate and environment.  This is what occurs as a result of destroying our forests without adequate reforestation. Nature can be unpredictable and often destructive toward itself, which is also a cause of destroyed forests. Nonetheless, the most common cause of deforestation is human force.

Forests are sometimes destroyed by unfortunate natural causes, such as a forest fire. This is a factor that we cannot control and, if the area is dry, then the damage can spread quickly. However, it is all too often that deforestation is caused by people who do not know or care about the harm of deforestation global warming. Vehicles and power plants that burn fossil fuels release large amounts of carbon dioxide into the air that we breathe. Trees in temperate forests absorb carbon dioxide, but millions of acreage is being destroyed each year.

Deforestation global warming has many harmful effects. Average temperatures are becoming dangerously high in some areas, and unpredictable weather conditions are increasingly frequent. Hurricanes are amplified by warm waters and have become a great concern to those who live in the United States and other areas near the Gulf of Mexico. Mosquitoes have also become a great worry because they have been in high production due to warm weather prolonging their breeding season. This is dangerous because they can carry diseases and viruses, such as Malaria and West Nile. Eventually the effects of global warming will become overwhelming and irreversibly harmful.

The best way to prevent deforestation global warming is increasing reforestation efforts. Tropical tree planting is in need of a large increase to keep up with the forests that are being destroyed rapidly. Tree planting is extremely inadequate, although it has become a necessity for our environmental future. They are needed to absorb carbon dioxide, especially if the deforestation was due to fire because that causes excessive amounts of carbon dioxide to be re-released into the air. Deforestation global warming could be prevented and improved on if people understood exactly what they should avoid doing, and also what they could do to help.

Governments could slow global warming dramatically, and buy time to avert disastrous climate change, by slashing emissions of one of humanity's most familiar pollutants – soot – according to Nasa scientists. A study by the space agency shows that cutting down on the pollutant, which has so far been largely ignored by climate scientists, can have an immediate cooling effect – and prevent ...

It’s no accident that Barack Obama plucked his transition chief from a think tank. The world’s idea factories are charged with brainstorming solutions to everything from global warming to Wall Street’s implosion to the war on terror.
